How casino loyalty programs actually work
Points, tiers, comps, free play — loyalty programs are deliberately confusing. Here's ours explained in plain terms, including the part where it's not worth it. Strictly 18+.

Solaris Palace runs a responsible gaming floor — 18+ only, limits available, help always nearby. This article explains the maths, not a sales pitch.
The basic mechanic
Every loyalty program does the same thing: you swipe a card while you play, the casino tracks your activity, and a slice of the theoretical margin comes back to you as points, perks and invitations. Palace Rewards also earns on dining, drinks and hotel stays — which is where non-gamblers actually benefit most.
Where the value actually is
- Non-gaming earn. Dinner at Meridian and drinks at the rooftop earn points even if you never touch a table. For locals, the dining discounts alone cover the (free) membership.
- Priority entry & booking windows. Members skip the Friday ID queue and get first crack at sunset tables and salon nights.
- Birthday & anniversary offers. The honest perks — a free entree or a room upgrade when the house can spare it.
Where it isn't worth it
Here's the part programs don't advertise: if chasing a higher tier changes what you'd spend, the program is winning, not you. Tier status is a side-effect of a good night out — as a goal, it's expensive. Set a limit, treat points as a bonus, and if the maths stops being fun, talk to our team or call Gambling Help on 1800 858 858.
Joining Palace Rewards
