What to pack for a casino weekend (and what to leave home)
Our concierge desk has rescued enough forgotten-phone-charger emergencies to write this from memory — the real packing list for a weekend that runs from pool to dinner to the tables.

A casino weekend is three dress codes in one bag: pool casual, dinner smart, gaming floor neat. Most people overpack the first and under-pack the third.
Non-negotiables
- Photo ID — the gaming floor checks everyone, every entry. Driver's licence or passport, physical not digital.
- One smart-casual outfit — Meridian and the salon want collared shirts or equivalent; thongs and singlets don't fly after 6 pm.
- Decent shoes — you'll be on your feet between tables more than you expect.
The stuff everyone forgets
Swimmers (the lagoon pool is heated year-round), a proper charger (the room has USB ports but guests still forget), and a light jacket for the rooftop — level 16 gets a breeze even in January.
What to leave home
Work laptop — trust us on this one. Anything valuable beyond what the room safe holds. And any plan to 'win back' the weekend budget; bring the amount you're happy to spend on the tables and leave it at that. Our team takes responsible gambling seriously and so should the packing list.
If you're on a package
Stay & Play guests get the Rewards pack at check-in — bring nothing extra except the ID. The room, cocktails and dining credit are already sorted before you arrive.
